A favourite cafe of mine, that I have loved ever since my mum introduced to me at a young age, is Pandoro!
The Italian based cafe is known for their extremely delicious breads and cakes also allowing those who are gluten free, organic or vegan to try. Their Handmade goodies are not only sold at their stores placed in Wellington and Auckland City, but also sold at popular cafes like Maranui, so everyone gets a taste of the mouthwatering delights Pandoro produces.
The savoury i order nearly every time I go to Pandoro is the salami and cheese melt (pictured above.) The ingredients the pastry holds inside consists of salami, cheese and small pieces of chopped onion. Very basic but when toasted the cheese oozes out as the pastry melts in your mouth.
Followed by a large warm coffee to sip on this is the perfect lunch time meal and costs under $10 which I would say is a very good deal for what you get.
