So I thought I would start a new “series” type thing, being my ‘Top 3 products of the month.’ Each month I will share with you 3 products that I have loved for that month.
This month my 3 favourite products have been:
Aveeno positively radiant tinted moisturiser
Millstream Gardens: Acne Cream X-zit
Antipodes: Rejoice light facial day cream
This Aveeno product is a tinted moisturiser. It’s very light on your skin and also has an added SPF (as most moisturisers should)
How I use the aveeno moisturiser is, I squirt a little blob about the size of the tip of my finger and dap it into my skin. The moisturiser gives a light tan coverage and a slight glittery tint. I add powder to my face, which keeps the moisturiser from looking excessively shiny and I am set for the day. Although the purpose of this product is to be a subtle tint and refresh your skin, I use this product as a day to day foundation as it offers exactly enough coverage.
Next is a big one I recommend to ALL teenagers that have either the odd breakout now and then or even have acne.
The Millstream Gardens is online store (which i will leave a link to down below) They offer a great range of natural products and this Acne Cream is by far my most favourite product I have purchased from them (and I have tried almost all of their products)
How I use this product is if I have a pimple or feel a breakout occurring on my skin I dap a small amount that is needed place it on the spot at night right before I go to sleep and leave it there till morning and then wash my face with a damp cloth. I can instantly see the cream is working and the spot is less red, sore, etc.
I would HIGHLY recommend this product to everyone that has breakouts or acne. Its been a favourite of mine since early last year and the small tub featured in the photo above has lasted me since late last year!
My last product of the month is another moisturiser!
This moisturiser from antipodes, which i received as a gift last year in april, is the most refreshing skin cream i have ever used. Its very hard to explain but when you put this on it feels as though someone has taking all the stuff off that makes your skin feel heavy and replaced it with a nice, light, cooling substance. Not to mention the smell of this product, oh my lord someone has called the angels! Its so incredibly lovely and smells like a fresh summers day in a garden filled with flowers.

The excitement from the time it turns to spring, the air begins to get warmer, the sun stays out for longer, the beach becomes a constant possibility of something to do!
The excitement before summer makes you feel so much better!
Today has been amazing! The sun is shining so bright we are able to walk around in shorts and not look like idiots because it’s no longer cold! Today has felt like a real summers day! Although still spring, days like this are joyous occasions for me and my best friend.
We started skating 2 years ago on my best friends 14th birthday, we were driving back from a day of horse riding, with the sun shining, sitting in the back seats, windows rolled down, singing to the tunes on the radio. Her dad and step mum sitting in the front laughing at how crazy we were. We stopped by the water front to eat the gigantic new york style pizza we had got and after finishing her dad brings out the skateboards. Me and her look at each other with terror in our eyes “are we really gonna try this” we say through what we think to be our crazy best friend, sister, twin telepathy. It looks like fun, so I say “why not!” I try it out first, very scared but I come back to her excited to keep skating! She freaks out and after a little while gives it a go. To say the least, from then on we were hooked! We went back to her house and for the rest of the evening skated up and down her street, trying to increase our speed and not fall over.
2 years have passed and we are still skating, only now with a bit more style than before haha. Today the sun was shining and although feeling sick from eating wayyy too much lollies and nachos grab the boards and run out to the middle of my street and start skating.
Skating is a mutual love for us. When we are together “Lets go skating!” we both love it and are always keen to go out and shred up the streets. No matter how many people stare at us, or the amount of people that say “you can’t even skate” when we walk into a shop holding our boards, we prove them wrong. Jamming pink floyd and relaxing as we cruse down the streets, we couldn’t be happier and with summer coming up this happiness only begins to escalate.
